The current research aims to identify: psychometric characteristics (honesty, stability) of the cognitive assessment system (CAS) of intelligence for children aged (4-7) years, percentile criteria of the cognitive assessment system (CAS) for intelligence for children aged (4-7) years. The current research includes children (kindergartens) and primary schools (first - second grade) of government schools in Basra Governorate for the academic year (2021-2022). The researcher determined the research sample by the stratified random method, and the research sample amounted to (400) boys and girls, with (200) boys and (200) girls. After extracting the psychometric characteristics, the system was applied to the research sample of (400) boys and girls, and the research reached the following result: the cognitive assessment system for intelligence has good psychometric properties (honesty, stability) and can be used in the Iraqi environment, there are no differences between males and females in the cognitive assessment system for intelligence. In light of the research results, the researcher came up with some recommendations and suggestions.
