Abstract

This study aims to answer the following question: Is there a correlation between emotional concealment and shyness among female students? By applying this to a sample of (60) female students from the kindergarten department in the College of Basic Education at the University of Kufa, they were selected at a rate of (42.5%) from the original community. Two tools were also used in the research, which were the measure of emotional reticence, which has a number of items (16) and the second The shyness scale (20 items), and the research reached the following results: female students in the kindergarten section enjoy moderate emotional reticence, and there are no statistically significant differences between the academic stages (second and third) in emotional reticence, and female students in the kindergarten section enjoy shyness, and there are no There are statistically significant differences between the academic stages (second and third) in shyness, and there is a direct and moderate relationship between emotional reticence and shyness among female students in the kindergarten section, and there are no differences in the strength of the relationship between emotional reticence and shyness among female students in the kindergarten section according to the stages (second - third students..
