In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and peace and blessings be upon the noblest of all creation, Abu al-Qasim Muhammad, and upon his pure and righteous family. Orientalism played a pivotal role in bringing Arabic literature out of isolation and into a sphere of openness and development. It was instrumental in all aspects of the literary renaissance, being one of the most important factors in the modern literary renaissance as a result of the interaction between Arab and Western cultures through Orientalists. This study necessitates dividing the research into an introduction, a definition of Orientalism in language and terminology, its connection to the literary renaissance and the most important factors that led to this renaissance and its starting point, the renaissance of prose and the impact of Orientalism on it, and a conclusion
