Geographical analysis of a healthy reality in the city of Al -Rifai using geographical information systems

Abstract

The health sector is one of the important service sectors for the population in the urban and the countryside alike because of its importance and impact on safety and health for the population and its effects on their various activities. The research aims to identify the health reality in the city of Al -Rifai and the efficiency of health services provided to the population by comparing international and local standards. The research relied on the descriptive analytical approach using government data and employing them in schedules, graphic problem and maps. The research using geographical information systems found that the population varies in their distribution according to the neighborhoods in the city and the lack of justice in the distribution of health institutions, the distribution of the population, the low efficiency of health services, and the presence of a large deficit in most international standards. I recommended the research to increase health practices, and that the health reality in the city does not have been in isolation On the numbers of the countryside, the countryside is the city region, and it is linked to it as administrative and service.
