Abstract

This study aimed to identify the horse and its concept and importance, and to show the extent of interest in the breeding and acquisition of purebred Arabian horses, and to clarify the mention of horses in the Holy Qur’an, and to talk about the contribution of horses in international races by addressing the preparation and participation in local and international tournaments so that there is a growth in opening the gate of interest horses and increase their capacity, and the study used the historical approach, which suits the nature of the study, and the study concluded several results, the most important of which was that horses had an important role in ancient and modern civilizations, as they were used for transportation, war, agriculture, hunting, trade and other purposes, and the study also showed that horses have It also has an important place in Islamic culture, as it was used in equestrian, sports, and religious and social ceremonies. The study also showed that the horse is considered a major partner for the knight in equestrian. The study also showed that the Holy Qur’an and the Islamic religion pay great attention to horses, as they encourage their upbringing and care for them. The study recommended conducting more research on the role of horses in Islamic culture, investing in breeding and participating in a competition It's horse racing.
