This study aims to uncover the attitudes of students in the Northern Technical University's dormitories toward drug use. This research aims to identify the nature of these attitudes (positive or negative), their prevalence among students, and the potential factors that influence them. A descriptive analytical approach was adopted, as it was considered most appropriate for the nature of the study. A questionnaire was applied to a sample of (130) students from the Northern Technical University's dormitories, who were selected randomly. The results of the study showed that most students' attitudes toward drug use were negative, indicating negative effects on their mental and physical health and academic future. The results also revealed the influence of some social and psychological factors on these attitudes, such as weak family supervision and the pressures of university life. In light of the results, the study recommended the need to strengthen awareness programs within dormitories, activate the role of psychological and social counseling, and enhance cooperation between university, security, and health institutions to reduce the spread of this phenomenon among students.
