This Research Focuses on the movement of Gross Domestic Product and the components of Aggregate Expenditure in the Iraqi Economy through the use of the Circular Flow plan for the period (2005-2016) by identifying the reality of investment expenditure, Government and the external sector in the composition of GDP. Several conclusions have been reached, most importantly, that Government spending constitutes the largest and most important part of the gross domestic product and thus the main driver in the Iraqi economic activity. The research also concluded that as a result of the weakness of the productive sectors in filling the local market need, it is relying on imports to fill the shortage in the local market
