Abstract

My research entitled Interpretation of the Great Qur’an and the Noble Qur’an named Explanation of the Interpretations of the Maturidi of Allama al-Samarqandi (T: 540 AH) from his saying: ﴿ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ﴾ to his saying: ﴿تِلْكَ آيَاتُ اللّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا اللّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِّلْعَالَمِين﴾ From Surat Al-Imran - study and investigation. It is a manuscript that the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Tikrit was honored to verify, and this is an excerpted part of my thesis tagged “Interpretation of the Great Qur’an and the Noble Qur’an called Explanation of the Maturidi Interpretations of the Allama al-Samarqandi (T: 540 AH) from verse 33 of Al Imran to verse 13 of Surat An-Nisa – study and investigation” and the reason that He called us to verify this manuscript, and the reason for its verification was that it did not serve a scholarly service and was not verified previously, just as the attribution of the manuscript to Imam al-Samarqandi - as shown by that al-Kasani and other scholars mentioned that in the introduction to their books - gives scientific importance to this book; For Imam al-Samarqandi's lofty status among the nation's scholars. Al-Samarqandi dealt with several arts in jurisprudence, its origins, language, interpretation, rhetorical jokes, doctrinal and rhetorical issues, with the inclusion of sayings in them and the balance between them, then the weighting with the evidence. As well as seeking to add a new interpretation to the interpretation library; So that students of knowledge can benefit from it, and we hope that it will be useful knowledge that will be benefited from, and an ongoing charity for us and our parents. I divided my research into an introduction in which I explained the research plan and two parts. In the first part, I dealt with an overview of the life of Imam al-Samarkandi and his approach to explaining interpretations, and the second part included the verification of the manuscript text.
