Abstract

The research aims to shed light on the linguistic ability in the domain of illustrating the meaning of words by indicating thier lexical semantics, and since Al Lubli ls book (Bughiat alaamal fi mustacbilat al-afåal which translates to: the high end of hopes in knowing the receptors of the verbs) , a will representative of these connotations, the book is chosen specifically from his writings to be the subject of thorough research of lexical semantics, knowing that for the first glance, the reader might find it a book of morphological aspect, but careful examination shows a widespread of lexical semantics throughout the pages of the book. The framework of the research requires the start of introduction, then a preface in which the status of the connotation in the linguistic lesson is explained in general, and the lexical semantics in particular, then followed by two topics: the first topic deals with the lexical functions of the words through which the full picture of the lexical significance of the word becomes clear. At the end of the research, the conclusion includes a summary of the most important findings of the research.
