Anticipatory Memory and its Relationship To Attentional control Among Basra University students

The study aimed to identify the level of proactive memory and the level of attentional control among the students of Basra University, and to detect whether there is a statistically significant correlation between the proactive memory and the level of attentional control among the students of Basra University. The validity and reliability of the tools were extracted, and the study tools were applied in their final form to the study sample of the (400) students of Basra University. One of the most prominent results of the study: that the students of Basra University enjoy anticipatory memory. The results also showed that the level of attentional control was in a high degree. A medium-valued correlation between anticipatory memory and the level of attentional control, and according to the results of the study, recommendations and suggestions were formulated.
