This research aims to identify the image of the Andalusian Sultan Abu Abdullah Muhammad V, nicknamed "Al-Ghani Billah," as depicted by the Andalusian poet of the eighth century AH. The poets Ibrahim bin Al-Hajj Al-Numairi and Ibn Zamrak Al-Andalusi were chosen because they are among the poets who addressed this sultan in their poetry. In order to achieve this goal, many questions were raised, including: What caught the attention of the Andalusian poet in the eighth century AH to describe this sultan in his poetry? What issues did he shed light on? Were there sincere feelings or material interests behind this interest? What language and tools did the poet use in his poetry to convey the image of this sultan? Did he succeed or fail? The research was divided into an introduction that dealt with a brief biography of the two poets and their relationship with Sultan Al-Ghani Billah. The axes of this research were distributed among the topics of the image of Al-Ghani Billah in the poets, including: the image of Al-Ghani Billah the Sultan, and the image of Al-Ghani Billah the brave and courageous leader.
