This research aims to explore the complex relationship between sociology and artificial intelligence amidst the rapid digital transformations reshaping social and cultural life. The study begins by examining the philosophical and intellectual foundations of AI, tracing its journey from a theoretical concept to technological dominance. It then analyzes AI's impact on redefining social action in digital environments and discusses virtual sociology as a response to these changes. Additionally, the research addresses ethical challenges, especially the issue of cultural and religious bias in AI algorithms, and highlights sociology’s role in regulating AI in accordance with the specificities of Arab societies. The findings reveal that, despite AI’s benefits, it poses profound sociological and ethical dilemmas that require critical approaches combining theoretical insights with empirical analysis. The research thus recommends integrating sociology into AI policy-making processes to ensure alignment with social values and to protect individuals from potential risks.
