Strategic thinking is very important in institutions, especially in the banking sector, because of its high dynamism in this important sector. It is necessary to have management and employees who have a high level of strategic thinking, and developing a strategy requires great effort and experience in order to achieve current goals, as well as work to achieve future goals. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the cadres and work to develop them and raise their level in terms of strategic thinking. Therefore, this study worked to know and evaluate the level of strategic thinking among the employees of Al-Rafidain Bank / Al-Rumaitha as a sample for the study. The questionnaire was relied upon, and the questionnaire was distributed to a sample of (100) employees, and this was analyzed. Questionnaire and calculating the arithmetic mean and standard deviation. This study reached important results, the most important of which is that the bank’s management and employees enjoy a good level of strategic thinking. Some recommendations were also given, the most important of which is the bank’s management’s work to involve employees in training courses in order to improve their intellectual level.
