Abstract

Agriculture constitutes one of the most important economic activities in any region، including Al-Rifai district، because of its importance in providing job opportunities and employing the workforce، as well as its role in providing the main food for humans and animals. Among the agricultural crops represented by summer and winter grain crops (wheat، barley، rapeseed، corn، mash، millet، sesame)، as well as summer and winter vegetables، which constitute a very important part of the population’s diet and a source of raw materials that are used in some local industries، as well as The cultivation of palm groves and their nutritional and economic importance، as well as the cultivation of fodder crops as food for animals، especially livestock، and as a result of this importance، therefore، this research aims to study the reality of agricultural production and to know the spatial variations of agricultural land invested in the study area for the year 2022 and to put forward the necessary proposals for the purpose of its development، and that With the aim of advancing the reality of agricultural production and developing it in quantity and quality in light of the great natural and human capabilities possessed by Al-Rifai.
